It is with some sadness but with wonderful memories that we announce this will be our last Stan Foster
Memorial Golf Tournament. We think that Stan would be very proud of us and all of you for the support
you have shown over the years. After 33 plus years, our committee has decided that 2025 will be our final
event. Join us in making this the best one yet!
It's time to get ready to tee off for the 33rd Stan Foster Memorial Golf Tournament. This tournament was established in memory of Stan Foster, a lifelong Vacaville resident & talented local athlete with a real affinity for the game of golf. When Stan lost his battle with colon cancer in 1993, his family who still have strong & deep ties with the community and friends could think of no better way to honor Stan than to help people within our community experiencing a difficult time.
This year's recipient is Brett Ryan Gregorich. Brett was born in 1999 and is a lifelong and 4th generation "Vacavillain". Brett's deep pride in his family roots and community is unwavering. Brett was active in sports, outdoor activities, and has a deep love of history. Tragedy struck Brett & his family on August 11, 2023, when he was involved in a life altering motorcycle accident. He suffered a severe traumatic brain injury in addition to broken bones, including his sternum, kneecap, & hip. His medical condition includes various obstacles he must deal with daily. In recent weeks, he has made some progress with his verbal skills & cognition but has a long journey ahead. His medical & rehabilitation costs are overwhelming. Brett's spirit & determination continue to inspire us all. Please help us help Brett!
